About the event
On September 20-23, 2023, in Pompano Beach, FL Black Fathers Weekend presents the 1st Annual RISE Conference. We are excited to bring Dr. Tony Evans to South Florida for this 3-day jammed-packed conference filled with insightful and intentional workshops. During this conference, we will address the impact of Black Fathers returning into the home and having active roles as fathers. RISE calls Black Fathers to RISE UP, in the home as fathers, husbands and leaders in the community. Black Fathers Weekend was organized by a collective group made up of Pastors, community, and other organizations that recognize the crisis of the black community with fathers living outside of the home.
